The American Gothic Metal Rock band Unto Others hails from Portland, but their sound could easily have come from the UK. Never Neverland marks their third album since their rebranding, showcasing a consistent evolution. Although this might be their most accessible and perhaps commercial release, there’s no chance of labeling them as sellouts. The album is rich in potential, individuality, and diversity.
From classic old-school goth to rockier Ramones vibes, with hints of The Cure, and a deep, sonorous voice that touches on Morrissey-esque pathos, the range is impressive. Tracks like „Butterfly“ and „Suicide Today“ even surpass HIM at their peak. Every track on this album is a gem.
