Dieses gute Stück lag lange in der Kiste, weil ich mir damals durch eigene Dummheit das System zerschossen hatte – der Rechner fuhr gar nicht mehr hoch. Mit Hilfe von ChatGPT habe ich ihn die Tage wiederbelebt.
Klar: Mit seiner Minimal-Ausstattung ist ein 9 Jahre altes MacBook Air heute keine Full-Production-Maschine mehr. Aber im Studio kann es trotzdem extrem wertvoll sein.
Ich habe gemerkt, wie gut es meinem Hauptsystem mit zwei Monitoren tut, bestimmte Prozesse auf einen zweiten Rechner auszulagern. Zum Beispiel:

Sure, with its minimal specs, a 9-year-old MacBook Air is no longer a full production machine today. But in the studio, it can still be extremely useful.
I realized how much it helps my main setup with two monitors when certain tasks run on a second computer. For example:
