Manche Songs entstehen nicht in einem einzigen Moment.
Manchmal ist die Grundidee sofort da – aber der Song muss erst seinen eigenen Charakter finden.
Bei unserem neuesten Track war genau das der Fall. Die Kernideen haben sich von Anfang an richtig angefühlt, aber als wir sie zum Leben erwecken wollten, war vieles noch wackelig. Wir fragten uns sogar, ob der Song vielleicht zu experimentell für Untamed Rage ist oder ob er wirklich zu uns passt.
Gestern hat Pete die Drums aufgenommen und dem Song genau das gegeben, was er gebraucht hat: ein druckvolles und solides Fundament.
Von hier aus werden wir weiter daran arbeiten, die einzelnen Teile zusammenzufügen und den Song zu dem zu machen, was er sein soll.
Hinter jedem Song steckt nicht nur Inspiration – sondern auch Zweifel, Arbeit, Ausprobieren und viele kleine Schritte.
Und genau dieser Prozess macht Musik spannend.

Sometimes the core idea is there immediately – but the song still has to find its own identity.
That was exactly the case with our latest track. The main ideas felt right from the beginning, but bringing them to life was a different story. We even asked ourselves if the song might be too experimental for Untamed Rage or if it truly fits our sound.
Yesterday Pete recorded the drums and gave the song exactly what it needed: a powerful and solid foundation.
Now we can continue shaping the different parts and turn this song into what it is meant to become.
Behind every song there is not only inspiration – there are doubts, hard work, experimentation and countless small steps.
And that process is what makes creating music exciting.
