After capturing random sparks of inspiration on the go (see Tip 1), I make it a habit to review my voice memos regularly. Whether it’s potential lyrics, song titles, riffs, or just raw thoughts – I listen back in a set rhythm and sort them.
I then enter the best ideas into different categorized lists – lyrics, themes, riffs, titles, vibes – all synced via the cloud. This way, I always have access across all devices, whether I’m in the studio or on the road.
It’s how I stay creative without losing track – when it’s time to write or record, I can pull from a pool of solid ideas that are already waiting to be shaped into songs.
Tip: Inspiration is messy. Your system doesn’t have to be.
