New York Hardcore at its finest! Brightside is not just Killing Time’s first album—it’s their best. Packed with relentless energy, crushing drive, and raw, gravelly vocals, this record is a milestone in NYHC history. As the precursor to Pro-Pain (who later didn’t do it for me), Killing Time delivered an album where every track hits hard. Discovered it in the late ‘80s and saw them live countless times—Wall of Hate remains one of my all-time favorite hardcore songs. A must-listen for true hardcore fans!
