It must have been around 1986. I remember being in the record store, deciding between Kreator’s „Pleasure to Kill“ and their debut „Endless Pain.“ The artwork for „Endless Pain“ left a lasting impression on me, opening the door to the world of extreme metal.
Back then, it was completely insane—brutal guitars, harsh vocals, and an intensity I’d never experienced before. The sheer aggression and raw energy of that album were mind-blowing. From the first listen, my love for the extreme sound was born and has held strong ever since.
Looking back, „Endless Pain“ was more than just an album. It was the start of an incredible journey into the depths of thrash and extreme metal. Kreator’s debut didn’t just introduce me to a genre; it became a cornerstone of my musical identity.
