WAS MACHT EINEN GITARRENSOUND WIRKLICH FETT?

WHAT REALLY MAKES A GUITAR TONE SOUND HUGE?
In my experience, a huge guitar tone starts long before mixing.
Fresh strings, a properly set-up guitar, a decent pick and regular tuning are the foundation. Clean recording and careful editing can make a big difference, too.
For a wide sound, I double-track the guitars and pan them hard left and right.
And something that’s often underestimated: the guitar cabinet and microphone placement can have a bigger impact on the tone than the amp alone.
Less gear hype, more focus on the basics!
