Je mehr ich mixe und produziere, desto mehr Ideen fließen zurück in meine eigene Band. Ein Thema, das mir dabei besonders wichtig ist: Automation & Post Production. Live gibt es die visuelle Ebene – Performance, Ausstrahlung und die Energie zwischen Band und Publikum.
Eine Platte hat das nicht.
Hier kann Produktion diese emotionale Ebene erweitern: Vocals nach vorne holen, Delays gezielt einsetzen, Instrumente bewegen und Dynamik formen.
Nicht, um etwas künstlich zu machen, sondern um einen Song lebendiger, emotionaler und mitreißender zu machen.
Für mich ist das nach dem Songwriting der kreativste Teil der Produktion.

The more I mix and produce, the more ideas I bring back to my own band.
One thing that keeps becoming more important to me: automation & post-production.
Live music has a visual dimension — performance, attitude and the energy between the band and the audience.
A record doesn’t.
That’s where production can extend the emotional side: pushing vocals forward, using delays with intention, moving instruments and shaping dynamics.
Not to make something artificial, but to make a song more alive, emotional and powerful.
For me, it’s the most creative part of production after songwriting.
