I’m building a brick set right now. The instructions are… let’s say not ideal. Some steps are confusing, some parts feel out of place — and yeah, I had to completely redo a section because I messed up.
Still, piece by piece, it starts to come together. You get lost in the details, sometimes frustrated, even questioning the whole point. But with patience and persistence, you get there. Just like songwriting.
That path is rarely straight. Ideas feel chaotic, parts don’t fit — and sometimes you have to tear it all down and start over. But if you stick with it, you end up creating something that lasts.
Whether it’s bricks or riffs – creativity takes time, mistakes, and grit.
