After cassettes, vinyl became my main medium. With my first paycheck, things really took off. Whether in record stores or at concerts, I was always on the hunt for the latest releases. Newsletters and fanzines helped me stay up-to-date, and if I liked a band live, I would buy their record.
Often, inside the record sleeves, there were additional flyers and recommended lists which expanded my musical universe and introduced me to unknown bands. As much as I loved the large artwork and lyric sheets, I always found vinyl to be a bit cumbersome. So, I would quickly transfer it onto tape…
