Picked up the Mac mini M4 this year in the base configuration — 256 GB SSD, 16 GB RAM — and I’m honestly blown away by what this little beast delivers for around €600.
I’ve always been on Macs, but the M4 is killing it for our Untamed Rage album production: big Logic projects, tons of plugins, zero drama. Project files on an external SSD, hit play — and it just runs.
Thinking back to the old days with a noisy tower under the desk feels like another lifetime… Now a tiny box powers our entire sound without breaking a sweat.

Ich hab mir dieses Jahr den Mac mini M4 in der Basisausstattung gegönnt – 256 GB SSD, 16 GB RAM. Und ich bin echt überrascht, was dieses kleine Teil für rund 600 € weghaut.
Ich war schon immer auf Macs unterwegs, aber der M4 liefert für unsere Untamed Rage Albumproduktion richtig ab: große Logic-Projekte, viele Plugins, null Stress. Die Projektfiles liegen auf einer externen SSD und das Ding rennt einfach.
Wenn ich daran denke, wie weit das zurückliegt, als man noch Tower unterm Tisch hatte und die Lüfter wie ein Jet klangen… Heute steht da ein winziges Kraftpaket, das unseren Sound ohne Murren trägt.
