In my opinion, any instrument you regularly use – whether for practice, rehearsals, or especially for recording – deserves proper care and the right setup. A good setup, clean hardware, fresh strings… it makes a real difference in both sound and feel.
To be honest, I’ve been slacking a bit lately. But when the sun finally came out last week, I took the chance to get outside, get comfortable, and give my guitar the love it deserved. Cleaned the fretboard, checked all the hardware, changed the strings – the full treatment. There’s something almost meditative about taking the time to do that.
