Discovering thrash metal at 16 while skateboarding was a game changer for me. I gravitated towards bands that were socially critical and not just about the poser image. The message and attitude had to be authentic. D.R.I., with their hardcore roots, stood out to me, and „4 of a Kind“ is a perfect example of why they’re still considered one of the defining crossover bands today.
