Hey everyone, I wanted to share a bit about my bass guitar setup. I’m not a true bass player—I play the bass more like a guitar. Because of this, I opted for a short scale bass and chose a 4-string from Ibanez.
Am I happy with it? Not really. It’s more of a means to an end. It’s easy to play, delivers enough punch and sustain, but the pickups are poorly shielded and prone to noise interference.
Now, I’m on the lookout for a long scale bass in the €400/$400 range. Any recommendations? I’d love to hear your suggestions!
